I've decided to keep it here on the blog because it reads almost like a poem. The seven italicized lines you see were seven links. I've disabled the links so that it reads more like a poem than a series of advertised links (the links led merely to generic searches that led to lists of generic companies that sell the drugs). Hmmm, maybe I should have kept the links! :)
Anyway, read the seven lines slowly and you will essentially be reading a medicized poem! And sandwiched between an interesting greeting and a telling salutation!
/t. has tagged me, asking me to say 6 weird things about myself. I thought I'd ask my wife and our 4-year-old son to help me out. So they each contributed 3 weird things about me, making it 6 right there. And I came up with 6 weird things on my own. Ok, so that's 12 weird things about me all together. But 12 is a good number.
My wife said... 1. You wear slacks all the time, you never wear shorts or jeans. 2. You think you could catch a cold from keeping a window open. 3. You believe in conspiracy theories.
My son said... 1. You're always saying crazy stuff. 2. You do magic. 3. You always wear a tie at home.
I said... 1. I actively prepare myself for lucid dreaming before I go to sleep. 2. I play golf twice a week with my colleagues and friends. 3. I can know a woman's body type and sexual demeanor by looking at her hands. 4. I'm a big fan of true-crime books. 5. I was once recruited by the CIA (for a specific but temporary project). 6. I drive a Land Rover, despite all the negative connotations.
And I'll tag the 3rd, 4th and 6th person who comments on this post.
[NOTE: I should point out that in my number 5 weird thing, the "CIA" means the "Cleveland Institue of Art". Sorry about any confusion.]
infinitesimal- You're right. The eyes on photographs can often be telling.
Eyes are sometimes asymmetrical in the skull of intriguing and insane people (one eye higher or lower than the other).
On most portrait photos you could place your hand over half of the face to reveal only one vertical half of the face. Take a good look at that half of the face -- there is a personality there. Then do the same for ther other side of the face, and take a good look at that other vertical half only -- there is another (part of the) personality there.
I'll leave the freudian slip in question 10 intact. I inadvertantly left Infini's answer there to that question. It's actually quite an appropriate answer for me as well. So I'll have "two" answers for question 10 then.
man, regarding shoes... i have these rhinestone open toed straps around the ankle jobs that i got in NY last summer...oooo boy! I had to put them on every night for a month once i got them home just for my own damn satisfaction!! they are even better than described.... but you are a married man!
regarding faces... yes i have noticed the personality phenom. what do you think about Bell's Palsy and that it only affects half the face usually?
And finally,. i made that post for you, to remember MY good old days in college.... like you did in a recent comment to me!
hey, did I mention that I went into the grad program?
soon i will be extra bonified. Super qualified to drive cabs and flip burgers!
Hey, thanks for the post then! I really like your look in that post. And yes, you did mention that you're now in the grad program. And I'll congratulate you once again. Congratulations!

robert jahn- Welcome! Yes, it's a simple project that will bring those highly intriguing creatures (bats) to your place of choice.
Hi,
A new blog you might like.
I post one "found poem" every day from the first edition of
Webster's American Dictionary (1828). For example:
Hope [n.] A sloping plain between ridges of mountains. [Not in
use.]

Can we talk?
flic,
wow!
had no idea, dude
golf twice a week... and that land rover thing -- you're a regular anarchist at heart!
enemy and dan did a couple of good ones, too -- fun reading
thanks so much for taking time
/t.
it's fun to learn new things about people...thanks for sharing. and what a great idea to ask your family members. i'm gonna have to do that!
AHA!!!
You DO work for the CIA!!!
and i feel you on the hands thing,
It's true, you can tell alot about a person from their hands.
Do you know what the Mound of Venus is?
It's the big (or flat) hump under the thumb on the palm.
nice and meaty = good in the sack
Flat and hard? = don't bother.
hahaha but true.
Hands are my favorite part of a man's body.
I dig eyes too, but they sometimes tell a person too much.
ever notice this?
If you look at pictures of nutjobs like Manson and other meanies, they have like an intense stare coming out of their right eye...
and truly really kind hearted people, have an intense stare coming out of their left eye.
and in extreme cases, the opposing eye is vacant and sometimes lazy even.
check it out. see for yourself.
well, this has been another long and weird comment from your favorite undergrad who craves the instant satisfaction of seeing her comment posted.
Alas sadly, it never happens here.
Stay away from those piercing right eyes! I always do.

I'll leave the freudian slip in question 10 intact. I inadvertantly left Infini's answer there to that question. It's actually quite an appropriate answer for me as well. So I'll have "two" answers for question 10 then.
Hey Flic,
Digging the new look, AND got a chance to learn some fun facts about you ;-). And there you go with the open-toed high heel shoes!
M- You have somehow made me very happy. Thanks!
Sorry I haven't been around. I got really sick and haven't been visiting my cool blog buddies like you.
enemy of the republic- Thanks. I've been kind of quiet, too. Hope you're feeling better.
