.
The lead detective took complete control of the investigation from the onset.
He fell in love with the forensic evidence that she left behind at the scene of the crime and the surrounding area.
He was enamored with her psychological profile and her refusal to admit to anything.
The detective made the proof lead into another direction and hit another person. And so she was officially innocent of any wrongdoing.

Someone's going to get the blame for killing Nietzsche Finger Puppet... let's just hope he/she wears their cloak of invisibility as convincingly as the green lady did.
Its nice when the really important powers are on your side.
I know it well.
I'm not too good at picking up these sorts of things (as you can probably tell), but is her ID the professor?
in college- Unless of course the person getting the blame wants the attention that that kind of blame will generate, (especially if they really didn't do it). The final episode is coming up next!
canopenner- Yes, when the really important powers are on your side, it is very nice. And it is always that way if you want it to be.
matina- The professor probably is her ID. That's got to be a part of it. Although her ID has manifested itself in a "real person". The professor is real (and separate from her) in his own right. You are good, M.
Oh, my goodness...so the evidence left behind...hmmm...a shoe...he has a shoe fetish...and because of her heart condition and inability to truly love, she is left feeling disconnected and numb. It's not really a stretch for her to deny everything, because she is so far detached emotionally.
cindra- Wow! You're supplying yet another interesting and attractive word to this blog. Now it's "fetish", actually "shoe fetish". I like it!!
Yay! I really have no clue what I am doing when I comment here...only that it's fun...you just give encouragement, so I go on and I can't wait to see what happens...you are a genius...mwaaaahaaahaaaa!
cindra- I'll join you in that mad scientist laugh!
/t- I didn't even know I ordered one...
But then I saw it (and "read" it), and it's perfect. I'll take two!
Thanks. I feel quite honored.
The dishware is ready, and it looks like a dishwasher or some kind of washer.
Hah! I like this...
but, regarding your comment at my roost...
eyedroppers? did i get that right?
little lamb- If you want to see a dishwasher or some kind of washer, I suppose you could. But a dishwasher is the place where you put the dishes if you didn't use paper plates.
And the dishware is really a paper plate [check out the source: X marks the spot!]. When you look closely, you will see that it is a paper plate set on a place mat. And there's even some food on the paper plate!
bird- Yes, you did get it right. An eyedropper is a dropper for administering liquid medicines, especially one for dispensing medications into the eye. And this helps clear the eyes, and thus one can see better. Cheers!
flic, that link leads you to /t.'s Blood Water Wine post.
Little lamb- Golly gee, such a simple and thoughtful gift has turned into something so complicated!
[Again, I want to thank /t for such a wonderful and original gift!]
Yes, you are correct that the "X marks the spot" link links to /t's "Blood Water Wine" post. So far so good.
Now if you read the comments, you will find my comment: "Make a paper plate out of this."
And then look at the picture/poem for that "BWW" post. You should already be able to start to see how that "Blood Water Wine" picture/poem has morphed into the paper plate that you see today (in the "PbN Petri Dishware" picture/poem)!
Now please could you wash my paper plate. You've made it all dirty. :)
I have come to believe that considerable portions of the universe formally assumed to have been filled with 'dark matter' are in fact harboring enormous and powerful machines dedicated to generating seemingly valid -- but upon closer inspection not entirely comprehensible -- strings of words which are fed into blog comments and in some cases blogs themselves, leading to the development of entirely new and unprecedented forms of confusion among those of us who are never certain whether we have just stumbled upon a clever literary device or simply a piece of red capsicum.
/t- Thanks for stopping by and certifying (and verifying) the paper plate!
murray- Why are clever literary devices and red capsicums the same? Because both of them can only take root and grow in fertile ground.
The lesson I have learned from this piece is that objectivity is indeed malleable.
You're so embarrassed that both your ears are glowing white.
puerileuwaite- That's an impressive lesson to notice and ponder! That the thing or place (external to the mind) aimed at is capable of being hammered into shape, and is adaptable.
db cooper- Yes, she's embarressed by what the tiny detective is saying at the press conference.
